Looks like the Home Invasion crimes are on the increase across America.

After researching we have found that a lot of neighborhoods are being hit by intruders appearing at the door steps of an unsuspecting victims only to force their way in.

The criminals are looking at this method versus crawling through the window because if the homeowner is home, then they have a better chance of finding the loot.

Prevention Tip:

1. If someone knocks on your door for what ever reason and at any time of the day, DON'T OPEN IT until you verbally make contact with this person(s) through the closed door!

2. If that person ask to use the phone or maybe request that you help them in any way, just reply that you have already called the local law enforcement agency (Sheriff. Police, etc) and that they are on the way. Even though you haven't called tell them anyways in case they are ready to kick your door in. By telling them that law enforcement is on their way will make the intruder think twice about committing any crime because now in the back of their mind the cops could be arriving any moment!
